PULL’n’CATCH® – Silica (SLC) risk managed !
ApplicationsEu Directive UE2017/2398, put respirable crystalline silica (SLC) dust on carcinogenic substances list. So, in addition to control the risk of exposure of all operators that could keep in contact with it, it’s necessary to control the spread of this substance in the working environment.
Free crystalline silica is that fraction of silica dust and its derivatives with sufficiently small dimensions (a few microns) to be able to enter into human air sacs. It is a dust generated during the production of ceramic tiles and/or during the processing of natural stones, marble and other.
The guidelines of machines and specialized associations are:
– insert suction system with suction hoods;
– it’s highly reccomended the application of high-efficiency (F9) or absolute (HEPA) filters.
Processes involved: all dry processes like polishing, cutting, squaring, grinding but also mills, pressing, enamelling and firing
Our Pull’n’Catch® system fully meets the above requirements !
Pull’n’Catch is the simples and cheapest system that can solve this problem on every application: it’s composed by an hood, a first step of filtration through a cyclone, and a second step of filtration through a filter that could be F9 or HEPA14.

Please note that: the system can be supplied for small frames like the one of the video but also for large frames over 3 meters! Such as, for example, at the entrance to the kilns.

ApplicationsPull’n’Catch® system is giving us great satisfactions every day, in this case for contaminated air filtration system !
The request to apply it not only in our historical sectors, but also in new one, demonstrates how this system can be applied everywhere and solve particular problems so far without solution, or with very expensive solutions.
We have published a new case history in Suction area that solved the problem of contaminated air near operators due to an hutment glue manual operation.
In the video, we have used an artificial smoke to better understand how the air moves and the result was achieve avoiding that the contaminated air (from the solvents) arrive to the face of the operators.

FM Partcommunity, after registration, will allow you:
– Download the 3D files of the single components of the air line
– to create and compose your blowing system and download 3D, starting from the selection of the type of air knife, then adding all the components that will allow the connection with the blower and with your structure.
– download a pdf data sheet summary with the list of components and products selected, also useful for requesting a quote.
In addition, the downloadable 3D file is not a generic format, but you can select the format of your CAD system so that there are no compatibility and import problems!
We are sure that these tools will simplify the work of all the designers and make the selection and application of our products to your systems very simple and fast.

PUSH’PULL’n’CATCH: The video presentation of the System
The time has come to remove the veils from this product and discover its functionality.
PULL’n’CATCH® is a new air suction and filtering system that completes GreenBlow® air line, which combines accuracy and precision in cleaning with high safety standards in industrial environments.
But let to the video to introduce you and explain how the system works !
GENERAL INTRODUCTION
GreenBlow® air line, also including the suction and filtering part, allows you to create a PUSH’PULL’n’ CATCH® system as it includes all components – blowers and air knives (PUSH), hood (PULL) and cyclones (CATCH) – necessary to create a system able to eliminate residues and dust from different surfaces with precision and accuracy, thus ensuring a high quality of the final product.
Furthermore, thanks to the use of HEPA filters and Predictive Maintenance systems that signal the need to replace the filters, it ensures high safety standards for workers by contrasting the inhalation of potentially carcinogenic substances such as PM2.5, PM10, Free crystalline silica and favoring the elimination of bacteria and viruses (including Covid-19) from the workplace.
PUSH’PULL’n’ CATCH® it’s a stand alone and modular system: the various components can be easily assembled and used individually even on existing systems, adapting to customer needs.
MAIN FEATURES
• Complete range that offer a complete solutions for air blowing, suction and filtering suitable for different sectors (ceramics, glass, marble, stone, food & beverage, etc…) and can be integrated into existing systems.
(PUSH) The air flow is generated by a low energy consumption centrifugal blowers equipped with IE3 and IE4 efficiency class motors, together with an air knife .
(PULL) The suction hood is made up of an intake manifold in plastic material to which 2 lateral aluminum profiles are combined which can be supplied with customized lengths to adapt to any line.
(CATCH) The cyclone removes most of the dust sucked by the hood from the incoming air flow and can be configured both with an integrated tank and with an outlet pipe that can be connected to a centralized tank.
• High air quality in the workplace: HEPA filter, inserted downstream of the cyclone and upstream of the blower, removes most of the bacteria and viruses present in it from the air flow. Furthermore, the inverter of the PULL’N’CATCH system is distinguished by a predictive maintenance system that allows you to warn when the HEPA filter needs to be replaced. This allows a highly purified air flow to be reintroduced into the circulation and guarantees the healthiness of the workplace.
• Highly configurable: The system provides different configurations, based on the system and customer requests. It can be supplied in a stand-alone version (therefore without the need for external connections), or to be combined with the centralized suction system already present in the company. In addition, for maximum performance, it can be combined with our air knife but can also be equipped with only an suction hood and cyclone.

PULL’n’CATCH® is a new air suction and filtering system that completes GreenBlow® air line, which combines accuracy and precision in cleaning with high safety standards in industrial environments.
PUSH’PULL’n’ CATCH® system includes all components – blowers, air knives, hood and cyclones – able to eliminate residues and dust from different surfaces with precision and accuracy, thus ensuring a high quality of the final product.

FM launches a new suction and filtering system: PULL’n’CATCH!
PULL’n’CATCH® is a new system that integrates FM’s GreenBlow® air line consisting of blowers and air knives ( blowing “PUSH“) with new components for suction – suction hood (PULL) – and air filtration – cyclone and HEPA filter (CATCH).
The PUSH,PULL’n’CATCH® system has been designed to remove dust and residues from different surfaces and products with accuracy and precision. The result is a scalable product that can be integrated into different industrial scenarios that guarantees high safety standards for workers and low energy consumption in plants.
FM reached this result through a complex project that involved all company departments in the last two years.

We asked ourselves how to convey this great potential and the answer was immediate: create a “house for Air Technology”

The first active sections, in addition to NEWS one, are precisely those of the APPLICATIONS and SECTORS, where you can find projects that have already been successfully implemented. Lots of images and videos that can help you better understand the system and get ideas to solve your need.

We decided to put the site online, even before its completion, precisely because we think that the sections already active can make a great contribution to the application of this technology.
